Rolf is in the final stage of purchasing an automotive component manufacturing plant, according to the company's director, Svetlana Vinogradova.
The exact location of the plant is unknown. It is possible that the plant is located outside of Russia, as a Rolf delegation visited India last year to study the component market.
Rolf plans to produce various auto parts, from filters to brake pads and suspension components. The company will expand its product range under its own brand after the completion of the deal.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rostec, together with a Chinese company, will build a new car factory in Russia.
