Portable "Ant" airfield for kamikaze drones developed for the Russian army

The complex can operate even in the most remote locations

The Russian military has received a portable "Ant" airfield for launching drones from remote locations. This was reported by an official representative of the Hermes Design Bureau (part of NPO Kaisant).

The airfield is a radio-controlled trolley with Hermes interference-protected communication and a ground control station.

In hibernation mode, kamikaze drones are delivered on the "Ant" to the place of use, after which they take off one by one in the desired direction.

Thanks to the "Ant", it is possible to deliver drones as discreetly as possible to the point from which the direct launch needs to be made and carry out an instant bombardment.

The "Ant" is compact, its dimensions are 80 by 90 cm. The trolley is painted in camouflage colors for disguise. The weight of the trolley is 27 kg, the carrying capacity is 25 kg, the speed of movement is 9 km/h over rough terrain.

Earlier www1.ru reported that two Tu-160 "White Swan" missile carriers flew over the Arctic Ocean.
