MTS has received a patent for a system to detect theft on power grids. The development, based on artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, allows for the rapid detection of anomalies in electricity consumption and the calculation of illegal mining farms.
The document confirms MTS's exclusive right to a unique invention — an IT solution for detecting losses and theft on power grids.
The solution has successfully passed state examination, which confirmed its high level and special significance for the energy sector. MTS has received a document confirming the exclusive right to license the software.
Since 2021, MTS EnergyTool IT solution has been helping to identify faulty metering devices and mining farms. MTS's clients include more than 10 large federal and regional energy companies, as well as industrial enterprises.
EnergyTool is software and hardware that allows detecting devices that incorrectly display energy consumption. The solution from MTS helps to identify places where illegal use of energy occurs for profit.
The system studies information from smart sensors. Suspicious subscribers are visible on the map. This helps teams understand where they need to go for verification.
