Z-16 reconnaissance drones are practically invisible to electronic intelligence (RER) and electronic warfare (EW) equipment. The advantages of the drone were described by ZALA.
Drones are mainly used to coordinate air strikes and counter-battery combat. The Z-16 is capable of operating at a distance of up to 75 km and effectively conducting surveillance.
The Z-16 is equipped with a thermal imager that allows detecting targets at night or even in adverse weather conditions. At the same time, the aircraft itself remains practically invisible to the enemy's RER and EW equipment.
The Z-16 drone is launched from a pneumatic launcher. HD video streaming allows the ground station operator to receive detailed video images in real time.
