Engineering troops of the Armed Forces of Russia are being re-equipped, they are receiving the latest and modernized equipment. In 2024, the troops received more than 1,800 samples of modern equipment, the Ministry of Defense noted.
In 2024, industrial enterprises supplied more than 1,800 samples of modern equipment and over 570 thousand sets of engineering equipment to the engineering troops. Re-equipment with the latest and modernized weapons is underway.
The department clarified that military engineers solve the tasks of engineering support, including mine clearance of territories, fortification equipment of borders and construction of crossings over water obstacles.
The system of engineering weapons includes over 600 items of various samples and sets, while their classification includes 75 types of equipment.
