Footage of a BTR-82 armored personnel carrier with intricate protection in the front of the combat vehicle has appeared online. It resembles a Mohawk in appearance.
A universal solution in the form of raised metal rods will provide additional protection to the frontal projection of the combat vehicle and the crew from strike drones.
BTR-82 is the most modern armored personnel carrier in service with the Russian army.
The vehicle is equipped with a 30-millimeter 2A72 cannon and a 7.62 mm PKTM machine gun, equipped with combined observation equipment, a two-plane stabilizer, fifth-generation communication equipment, and topographic orientation systems. The BTR-82A was adopted by the Armed Forces of Russia in 2012.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a T-72BM3 tank with anti-drone protection in the form of dreadlocks was spotted online.
