The automaker KamAZ has started production of the new KamAZ-65955 tractor. The new truck is equipped with a powerful 560 hp engine and all-wheel drive on all three pairs of wheels. The KamAZ-65955 was developed specifically for harsh operating conditions.
The tractor received a power bumper, reinforced suspension with increased ground clearance, and a 16-speed manual transmission. The vehicle is capable of pulling a trailer weighing 87.6 tons, with a total weight of 100 tons. The 13-liter turbodiesel develops 2600 Nm of torque.
The cab of the KamAZ-65955 was taken from the K5 generation, but it is not as high and wide as that of long-haul tractors. The cabin has a climate system with air conditioning, a sleeping berth, and the driver's seat is on air suspension.
In 2025, 360 units of the tractor will be produced, the cost of the new truck is 11 million rubles.
