Omoda and JACOO - subsidiaries of the car manufacturer Chery - have announced the start of sales of their cars through the Yandex Market platform. For now, cars are only available for purchase in Moscow, but there are plans to expand the sales geography.
The Yandex Market range includes two Omoda models: the Omoda C5, a fastback crossover, and the Omoda S5, a city sedan. The Jaecoo brand offers more technologically advanced J7 and J8 crossovers.
The ordering procedure is simple, fast, and secure. To do this, you need to go to the "Auto Products" section, select the "Cars" category, decide on a model, and choose a convenient payment method: by bank card or in cash.
To complete the transaction, a dealer employee contacts the client. The specialist talks about the details and requests information needed to process the car documents. After that, all that remains is to come to the car dealership at the appointed time, sign the contract, pay for the purchase, and register the new Omoda or Jaecoo car with the traffic police.
As a reminder, Yandex Market launched car salesin early December. The editor-in-chief of the magazine "Behind the Wheel", Maxim Kadakov, noted that the scheme is well-developed, but not quite finalized.
Earlier, Wildberries launchedsales of electric vehicles. The first in this segment was the Russian electric car "Amberauto A5", which received the unofficial name "electric train".
