Insiders have shown a new live photo of the Lada Iskra sedan, which is being prepared for mass production at AvtoVAZ.
The production of Lada Iskra at AvtoVAZ has reached the stage where it is 95% ready for mass launch. Several cars are already rolling off the assembly line every day. In the future, the model will be presented in various versions, including a sedan, a station wagon and a cross-country station wagon in the Cross version. These cars should gradually replace the Lada Granta, becoming the main representative of the brand on the market.
The base engine for Lada Iskra will be a 90-horsepower 1.6-liter unit, working in tandem with a 5-speed manual gearbox (manual transmission). A version with a more powerful 1.6-liter 106 hp engine will also be available, which will be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. Additionally, a version with a 1.6-liter engine and a CVT will appear in the Lada Iskra line.
