Serial production of the world's first fully autonomous robot tractor based on artificial intelligence (AI) has been launched in Russia. The production is carried out at the "Cognitive Pilot" company site.
The new device is a cabless mini-tractor with a hybrid engine. It is capable of performing a wide range of tasks in agriculture, the oil and gas industry, and the transport sector.
The robot tractor navigates in space using machine vision, satellites, and RTK markers. It can operate in fully autonomous mode, participate in group operations ("swarm of tractors"), perform tasks for transporting goods and inspecting hazardous objects.
Serial production is scheduled to begin in June 2025.
