The "Uralvagonzavod" enterprise, which is part of Rostec, has fulfilled all obligations under contracts for the supply of T-90M "Proryv" tanks and upgraded T-72B3M tanks for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. State flags and New Year trees were placed on the vehicles.
The concern noted that more than a hundred changes have been made to the design of the vehicles in the last almost three years. For example, all vehicles are equipped with rubber-reinforced protection and nets against FPV drones.
Additional protection has been provided to the rear, engine, and engine-transmission compartment of the tanks. The vehicles are also equipped with stealth technology and electronic warfare systems to counter UAVs.
The tank of the early 2022 model and the tank of the late 2024 model are, one might say, two different combat vehicles. For example, when it comes to the protection system, it did not anticipate many of the challenges we faced. The corresponding improvements were immediately adopted, the designers worked day and night, and the factory workers promptly made changes to the products that were already being assembled in the workshop.
