Three new stations on the Troitskaya metro line were opened in Moscow at once: Kornilovskaya, Kommunarka, and Novomoskovskaya. This marks the launch of full-fledged traffic on this line, which now includes seven stations and 15.5 km of tracks. The Troitskaya line also provides transfers to the Big Circle and Sokolnicheskaya metro lines.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted that the construction of the Troitskaya line was carried out in two stages. The first part, including sections from Novatorskaya to Tyutchevskaya, was opened in September. This line will significantly improve transport accessibility for residents of almost 900 thousand Muscovites, including 175 thousand people living in the Kommunarka area.
Further construction will continue during the New Year holidays. In the future, the line will be extended to the MCC and Troitsk.
