AvtoVAZ has announced a service campaign to address a brake defect in the Lada Aura car. Although the exact nature of the problem is not officially disclosed, it is assumed that the defect is related to the anti-squeal plates of the brake pads: they may be missing, incorrectly installed, or damaged.
The problem will be eliminated at the pre-sale preparation stage, before the car is handed over to the buyer. If the car has already been purchased, its transfer to the owner will not take place until all the necessary work is carried out as part of this service campaign.
Dealers have received lists of VIN numbers of cars to be repaired. The exact number of cars affected by the campaign has not yet been reported.
The publication "Lada.online" notes that conducting such recall and service campaigns is a common practice, demonstrating the manufacturer's responsibility and desire to maintain long-term relationships with customers.
