The Kalashnikov Concern has released a video of testing equipment for remote control of the Konkurs-M anti-tank missile system (ATGM). The footage shows the installation of additional equipment on the ATGM launcher and the operation of the operator at the remote control panel, which is made in the form of a case.
The console consists of keys for controlling the installation and a screen that displays the image from the Kornet sight.
The crew can prepare the installation and equipment for operation in less than 20 minutes. At the same time, the remote control kit can operate continuously for eight hours. The weight of the console is less than 10 kg. The new equipment allows the crew to control the Konkurs from cover.
The Konkurs-M ATGM missile is equipped with a cumulative warhead weighing 2.7 kg, which can penetrate 750–800 mm of armor at an angle of 90 degrees. The complex allows you to hit various armored vehicles, firing points and enemy dugouts.
