VK is launching its own portal — OpenVK. The service is designed for publishing software (SW). This was reported in the company's press service.
At OpenVK, the company will release projects in several areas: IT systems and products, tools and libraries for developers, as well as artificial intelligence models.
The Tarantool platform is available in open source for creating high-load applications to ensure the reliability and speed of services, as well as the StatsHouse data visualization system for monitoring, the VKUI design system for creating user-friendly interfaces, and other projects. AI models and libraries for creating them are also available in OpenVK. Among them is a speech synthesis model that allows giving artificial speech the correct emotional tones when voicing text by neural networks.
The company added that links to developments will be regularly updated and supplemented with new products. It is expected that the opportunity to work with the source code of large VK projects may attract new talented developers and specialists.
