The "High-Precision Systems" holding company, as part of the Rosoboronexport exposition, began its work at the Vietnam Defence Expo 2024 exhibition of weapons and technologies in Hanoi. Among the products presented by the holding abroad, the Pantsir-SMD-E anti-aircraft missile system, designed to protect administrative and industrial facilities from massive drone attacks, was demonstrated for the first time.
The latest "Pantsir-SMD-E" is capable of detecting and engaging aerial targets at medium and short ranges, as well as automatically assessing the effectiveness of firing.
The ammunition load in the launcher guides can reach up to 12 standard anti-aircraft guided missiles or 48 short-range anti-aircraft guided missiles. At the same time, the number of missiles may vary depending on the combination between standard and mini-missiles.
