Russia has fully completed the re-equipment of the ground grouping of strategic nuclear forces with modern mobile ground-based missile systems. This was stated by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov.
According to him, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in the current situation, continues planned activities to strengthen the country's defense capability.
During the year, tasks were addressed to enhance the combat potential of the Armed Forces, improve methods of troop and weapon control, and personnel training. The basis of the country's security is the nuclear triad.
Also in Russia, the planned re-equipment of the stationary grouping with the Yars strategic missile system continues.
