By the end of 2024, the share of sales of flagship Lada Vesta models on credit amounted to 80–85%. This was announced by the president of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov.
We feel that by the end of the year, starting from the fourth quarter, there is a sharp pressure from all regulatory measures that were taken in terms of increasing the key rate and, as a result, the interest rate and the burden on our enterprises, other measures to tighten lending.
According to him, in the field of automobile production in Russia, whether it is trucks, cars or heavy vehicles, a significant part of the products are sold using credit instruments. Even AvtoVAZ has about two-thirds of sales carried out using various credit mechanisms. And for the most popular models, such as Vesta, the percentage of sales on credit reaches 80–85%.
AvtoVAZ produced more than 500 thousand cars in a year. In 2025, the company plans to invest about 45 billion rubles in new projects. In the future, investments in the modernization of production facilities and the expansion of the model range will amount to 50 to 60 billion rubles annually.
