AvtoVAZ, due to the high interest rate and strict requirements for borrowers, has proposed revising the state program of preferential car loans, suggesting discount certificates for buyers instead of loans.
AvtoVAZ Vice President for External Relations, Sergei Gromak, noted that it is necessary to think about reformatting some support measures.
But, again, significant funds are allocated for preferential car loans. But there is money in the budget, but the car loan itself is still inaccessible to citizens, because of the strict requirements for borrowers and the high interest rate. Maybe it's worth thinking about reformatting the measures. For example, giving a discount on a car not through a loan, but, perhaps, through some direct certificate to a citizen for a discount.
Gromak noted that such a discount certificate could be issued, for example, as part of trade-in programs or when disposing of a used car through a dealer.
