Radar stations of the Russian Aerospace Forces can detect and track any means of air and space attack, including hypersonic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. This was stated by the Ministry of Defense.

Chief of the Radio Engineering Troops of the Aerospace Forces, Colonel Andrei Chedaev, noted that the radio engineering troops of the Russian army are currently armed with modern radar equipment such as "Nebo-M", "Kasta-VM", "Podlet", "Observer-FSRiKVP", and automation systems "Fundament-M".

According to him, the distinctive features of the new equipment of the radio engineering troops are a high level of automation of all processing and radar information output processes, a modern component base, a significant increase in the capabilities of computing tools, and high noise immunity.
