The Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter can be detected by the enemy's 36D6 surveillance radars at a distance of only up to 160 km, while the Su-35S can be detected at a distance of up to 250-270 km with a high-altitude range of 10-20 km.
When flying in terrain-following mode at altitudes of 70 m, the detection range of the Su-57 by the 36D6 radar will not exceed 38 km.
At flight echelons up to 1000 m — more than 110 km. The AN/MPQ-65A multi-functional radar of the Patriot PAC-2/3 complex is capable of detecting the Su-57 in the forward hemisphere at a distance of no more than 70–80 km.
