A useful update has appeared in Yandex Maps. Now, users have access to a selection of winter entertainment: Christmas trees, ice rinks, and other New Year's activities.
This year, more than 1,720 Christmas trees have appeared on the maps. The main Christmas trees of million-plus cities and the Golden Ring are presented in 3D. They have detailed decorative elements and lighting in night mode.
More New Year symbols will be added to the maps by the end of December. Information about them is sent by users.
But that's not all. More than 3,500 Christmas tree sales points are marked on the maps. This is three times more than last year.
Yandex also took care to ensure that Russians could plan their winter holidays better. Now, 16,754 ice rinks have been found on the maps — twice as many as last year. Ice rinks have been marked for the first time in 360 small settlements.
In addition, in Yandex Maps you can find more than 20 residences of Ded Moroz. They can be visited during the holidays.
