Yandex Maps and Navigator have launched an updated parking mode for customers in the latest version of the application. It now allows you not only to find and pay for parking in Moscow, but also to complete it in a timely manner, without losing money when it is completed ahead of schedule. The status of the current parking will be visible even on the locked screen of the phone.
Information about the parking session is now visible in Live Activity mode on the iPhone, and for Android owners, parking statuses appear in the notification shade. Even if the application is minimized, it will warn the driver if the payment has not been made or the parking time is coming to an end. If the driver sets off without completing parking, Maps will remind you of this.
The design of the "Parking" section in the Maps profile has also been updated. On a single screen, you can now view your map of previous parking sessions and your parking account, top up your parking account, add or remove a car.
Earlier in Yandex Maps and Navigator in Russia, it became possible to find charging stations for electric vehicles nearby, connect to them and end the charging session. Currently, there are already about 800 charging stations in 33 regions of the country, including Moscow. .
