AvtoVAZ will develop the «Iskra» in a new body — a cross-wagon. This was reported by the insider public Avtograd.
Currently, the car is in the preparation stage at the exhibition site.
Lada Iskra SW Cross, painted with a new enamel «Tabasco» is a demonstration copy intended for future presentation. Since not all the plastic in the cabin is still stock with embossing, the manufacturing company of plastic components has ordered the missing components, they will be installed in the car, it will go through a full cycle of refinement before the presentation.
Mass production of Lada Iskra is scheduled for March 2025, cars will go on sale in late spring or early summer. In accordance with the production plan, 50% of the total volume will be allocated to sedans, and 25% each to wagons and cross-wagons.
