The UAC previously stated that the fifth-generation Su-57 stealth multirole aircraft will receive sixth-generation fighter technologies. Indian Air Force Marshal Anil Khosla stated that the Russian aircraft is being developed with subsequent modernization in mind. This is reported by the Eurasian Times.
If elements of sixth-generation fighter technologies are indeed implemented in the Su-57, they will most likely be presented in the form of modular capabilities or groundwork for future upgrades.
He suggested that this could be multispectral stealth, interaction with a slave UAV, and integration of hypersonic missiles. Khosla did not rule out that the Su-57 would receive directed energy weapons and be resistant to hacking of intelligent systems.
