Tankers from the Eastern Military District (EAD) units, who have signed their first military contracts, are mastering the driving of T-80 tanks. They have been dubbed "flying" due to their good mobility on the battlefield.
Tank driving exercises are taking place at the combined arms training ground "Knyaz-Volkonsky" in the Khabarovsk Territory. Before starting, the driver-mechanics checked the condition of the units and main systems of the tanks.
During the exercises, the tankers will practice maneuvering on the track, overcoming artificial and natural obstacles, stopping on an incline and descent, as well as various turns and pivots. The next stage of training will be extreme driving at maximum permissible speeds.
