A new tracked unmanned platform for evacuating the wounded, the "Venom-Totem," with a payload capacity of up to 300 kg, has been developed in Novosibirsk. The Russian army will receive the first 50 units of the system in the near future.
The "Venom-Totem" platform was originally developed for evacuating victims from emergency zones, but recently it has been frequently and successfully used on the front lines.
The payload capacity is up to 300 kg, but during stress tests, the platform is capable of carrying up to 500 kg. Its primary purpose is to evacuate wounded individuals who cannot get out on their own.
The remotely controlled platform drives up, the person loads into it, and the operator takes them to a safe distance. There are separate developments - we are moving towards this - of platforms that will independently load the dead.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia built a Tushil-class missile frigate for India with "Caliber," "Onyx," and BrahMos missiles.
