Russian military personnel at the front have once again demonstrated ingenuity and created a mobile multiple launch rocket system on the chassis of a small-tonnage UAZ-3303 truck. The installation received the nickname Bukhatyusha.
The vehicle is armed with a B-8M1 NURS aviation unit, currently used on combat aircraft — MiG-29 fighters and Su-25 attack aircraft.
In total, two dozen launch tubes were installed on the vehicle. Uncontrolled rockets of the S-8 type of various modifications have a flight range of 1600 to 6000 meters. They are equipped with volume-detonating, cumulative-fragmentation, concrete-piercing, as well as ready-made striking elements warheads.
Such units have already been spotted on BTR-80 armored personnel carriers and lightly armored MT-LB tracked tractors.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia built the Tushil missile frigate for India with "Caliber", "Onyx" and BrahMos.
