Specialists from the Moscow company JSC "Nova Labs" continue to optimize the guidance system algorithms for promising small-sized UAV interception systems "Molot". The system is represented by a launcher based on a sealed transport and launch container made of composite materials, equipped with a double handle and a lightweight folding tactical stock.
The TPK houses a small-sized interceptor drone with four highly efficient brushless motors, providing the product with a maximum horizontal flight speed of up to 180 km/h. With a capacious lithium-polymer battery, the operating range is about 1000 m in favorable meteorological conditions, in calm weather.
Unlike other FPV drones, "Molot" has an aerodynamically verified fuselage, an infrared guidance sensor under the video link module, and a hemispherical fairing. The weight of the interceptor drone is about 1.5-2 kg.
The thermal imaging module can detect and capture large heat-contrast drones such as "Lyutyi" or PD-1 at a distance of 1000 m, drones with a cross-section of 700-800 mm - up to 400 m and small copters - about 250 - 300 m. The height of intercepted UAVs - up to 200 m.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia has built a Tushil-class missile frigate for India with Kalibr, Onyx, and BrahMos missiles.
