The Russian loitering munition "Lancet-3" surpassed its American competitor Switchblade-600 in all respects. This was pointed out by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
He noted that the "Lancet" is almost twice as good in terms of combat range, 70 km versus 40 km, respectively, due to the larger capacity of the built-in battery.
Thanks to the high aerodynamic quality of the glider with an X-shaped tail, the "Lancet" can be equipped with a much wider range of equipment. For example, from cumulative and high-explosive fragmentation warheads to means of electronic, magnetometric and gasometric reconnaissance.
In addition, magnetometric and gasometric reconnaissance sensors are capable of identifying a large number of ground equipment hiding in a wooded landscape, thanks to anomalies in the magnetic field above the square, as well as an increase in the concentration of CO and other gases during the operation of the power plants of the equipment.
