Russia's ability to shoot down the "Inferno" missile-drone assessed: it is slower than Storm Shadow or "Neptune"

Military expert Dandykin: Russia will be able to shoot down the "Inferno" missile-drone

Russian military personnel are capable of shooting down the latest "Inferno" missile-drone, military expert Vasily Dandykin expressed confidence. He noted that the speed of the new ammunition is lower than that of Storm Shadow or "Neptune".

Dandykin clarified that the "Inferno" is highly likely to be shot down even before the drone detaches.

A speed of 700 km/h is much less than Storm Shadow or "Neptune" with 850–900 km/h. I think all of this can be shot down even before the drone detaches.

The analyst clarified that "Inferno" is a drone carrier, this principle of missile operation has long been known. Russia also has missile-torpedoes that operate on a similar principle.

Earlier www1.ru reported that rare footage of the launch of a supersonic anti-aircraft missile "Pantsir-S1" at a UAV appeared on the Web.
