A test prototype of the future crossover based on LADA Vesta has been spotted on the roads. According to insiders, the test vehicle is designed to test key components and assemblies of the crossover. It retains the appearance of the current model in order not to reveal the final design.
The prototype is a LADA Vesta SW Cross, modified to meet testing requirements. The main difference from the production version is the increased wheel arches, especially noticeable at the rear of the car, where they reach the fuel filler flap. This approach allows you to test the technical components of the future car without revealing its appearance.
The official premiere of the crossover is scheduled for June next year at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).
