The «High-Precision Systems» holding (part of Rostec) has fulfilled the annual contract for the supply of BTR-MDM «Rakushka» to the Ministry of Defense under the state defense order.
The vehicles were equipped with additional protection kits, including upper hemisphere protection, means of reducing visibility in the radar and thermal spectrum «Nakidka» under the terms of the contract.
Airborne multi-purpose armored personnel carriers BTR-MDM «Rakushka» are designed to transport troops of up to 13 people, as well as spare parts, ammunition, and POL as part of airborne units in various climates and in all conditions of combat use.
The vehicle's crew consists of two people. «Rakushka» can move on the highway with a maximum speed of at least 70 km/h, and the average speed on a dry dirt road is up to 50 km/h.
