The Russian multifunctional Su-57 fighter stands out among other fifth-generation combat aircraft. The differences were noted in the American magazine Military Watch Magazine (MWM).
The authors of the article called the Su-57 the successor to the promising MiG-1.42 aircraft, and its competitors the American F-35 and the Chinese J-20.
The distinguishing features of the Su-57 were high maneuverability, the ability to "blind" enemy missiles approaching the fighter with guided infrared countermeasures systems, supersonic cruising speed and long range, as well as guided K-77M missiles with an active phased array antenna (APAA) in the head and six built-in radars.
Journalists added that the Su-57 is equipped with hypersonic ballistic missiles and can be used on unequipped runways.
