The longliner vessel "Nugget" (project 03142), built at the Vostochnaya Verf (part of USC) in Vladivostok, has set out for sea trials. This was reported by the corporation's press service.
During the tests, the operation of the equipment and its parameters in running modes will be checked, as well as the seaworthiness of the vessel (buoyancy, stability, controllability, speed, maneuverability).
This is the first longliner built in the Far East. It was launched in early October 2024.
"Nugget" will be used to catch fish in a way that is as gentle as possible for the aquatic ecosystem. On board the vessel, fish can be processed into frozen products in gutted and ungutted form.
