Новый российский краболов «Пума» проекта 03141 передан заказчику

The vessel is capable of staying at sea for up to 45 days and has a gross tonnage of over 1000 tons

Crabbers of project 03141 are being built as part of the first stage of the investment project "Quotas for Keels." They are produced by shipbuilders of the Vostochnaya Verf (managing company – Amur Shipbuilding Plant JSC "USC").

Project 03141

Universal modular complex developed by LLC "SC Viking." Its main purpose is crab fishing: the vessel can be used both for catching and transporting live crab, as well as for freezing products at sea and transporting them to shore. However, any vessel of project 03141 can be used as a longliner and shrimp trawler.

Technical characteristics:

  • vessel class — (PC) KM Ice2 (REF) fishing vessel. This means that the vessel has an unlimited navigation area and can be operated in small broken ice up to half a meter thick;
  • maximum length — 63.27 meters;
  • maximum width — 10.60 meters;
  • board height — 4.60 meters;
  • gross tonnage — 1048 tons;
  • main engine power — 1618 kW;
  • speed — 14 knots;
  • crew — 21 people;
  • autonomy — 45 days.

Crabbers of project 03141 have been built at "Vostochnaya Verf" since 2019. Counting the "Puma," Russia already has five such vessels on the water, and by the end of 2024, the sixth vessel, "Andrey Basargin," which is already undergoing sea trials, may join them.
