Construction of the crabber "Uglegorsk" began at the Nakhodka Shipyard

The construction of the vessel will be completed in 2028

Specialists of the Nakhodka Shipyard in the Primorsky Territory have started construction of two crab catchers of the GM 5.03 project (developed by Globoks Marine Engineering LLC). The customer is Amurrybprom LLC. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS).

The Director of the Far Eastern Branch of the RS, Pavel Shikhov, took part in the keel-laying ceremony of the vessels (one of them is "Uglegorsk"). RS engineers will inspect the progress of the crab catchers' construction. The construction of the vessels is scheduled to be completed in 2028.

The Nakhodka Shipyard has built more than 60 vessels of various types. In addition to the two crab catchers, 11 fishing vessels are being built here.
