Specialists of the Nakhodka Ship Repair Plant in the Primorsky Territory have begun construction of two crab catchers of the GM 5.03 project (developed by Globoks Marine Engineering LLC). The customer is Amurrybprom LLC. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS).
Pavel Shikhov, Director of the Far Eastern Branch of RS, took part in the keel-laying ceremony of the vessels (one of them is "Uglegorsk"). RS engineers will inspect the progress of the crab catchers' construction. The construction of the vessels is scheduled to be completed in 2028.

The Nakhodka Ship Repair Plant has built more than 60 vessels of various types. In addition to two crab catchers, 11 fishing vessels are being built here.
