AvtoVAZ Vice President for Sales and Marketing Dmitry Kostromin announced that in 2025 the company plans to introduce a new minivan that will complement the LADA Largus model.
The concept of the new car may be announced as early as 2024, and the premiere of the minivan itself in 2025. According to Kostromin, the concept will be ready six months after the announcement, if all developments go according to plan. This car will be aimed at filling the niche where more expensive Chinese models currently dominate.
In addition, Kostromin noted that AvtoVAZ is considering entering the pickup truck market, which has recently shown significant sales growth in Russia. Although the details of this project have not yet been disclosed, the company plans to actively develop in this segment.
For AvtoVAZ, the upcoming new products will be the LADA Niva Sport and a crossover based on the LADA Vesta, which will be presented in the summer of 2025.
