The rare 120-mm breech-loading rifled gun 2B16 "Nona-K" continues to demonstrate effectiveness on the front lines. With a length of 24.2 calibers and an elevation angle from -10 to +80 degrees, the gun can function both as a howitzer and a mortar.
It is capable of hitting targets on the rear slopes of enemy-controlled heights with a maximum effective range of 12.8 km when using rocket-assisted projectiles, and 12 km when using the UAS "Kitolov-2".
One such projectile hit an AGS crew at a distance of 12.5 km. Standard high-explosive fragmentation projectiles ZOF54-1 have a range of 8800 m.
