«Продукцию ждут в войсках»: Кировский завод «Маяк» построит цех гальваники

New equipment will appear on an area of almost 2,500 square meters

Specialists of the "Kirov Plant "Mayak" (part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) have begun pouring the foundation for a new electroplating workshop. With its commissioning, the company will significantly increase the volume of production. This was reported by the press service of the concern.

As explained in the press service, the workshop will be located on an area of about 2,500 square meters. It will house modern high-performance and environmentally friendly electroplating equipment.

Our task at the new facility is to ensure strict adherence to the construction schedule. According to the plan, the building should be erected by June 2025. We must meet this deadline, because our products are awaited by military personnel in units and subdivisions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Viktor Zhilkin, General Director of PJSC "Kirov Plant "Mayak"

Currently, the plant has 3 main production facilities: procurement, mechanical, and assembly. They provide a complete technological cycle of product manufacturing – from receiving the workpiece to high-precision assembly and testing.

In the summer, "Mayak" presented an upgraded remote wired control device for an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launcher at the international forum "Army-2024". Foreign customers showed great interest in the company's exposition.
