One of the key "links" that will be the first to be introduced into the structure of the future UAV units in the Russian army will be the reconnaissance and strike "Inokhodets-RU", according to military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
The main technical feature of the drone's weapons control system is the integration of multi-purpose tactical Kh-UAV missiles, developed by the Tula KBP on the basis of 9M133M-2 anti-tank guided missiles and multi-purpose 9M133FM-3 from the "Kornet-D" ATGM. The missile guidance system is classic - semi-automatic laser-beam with an effective range of up to 10 km in favorable weather conditions.
The laser-beam control channel emitter is integrated into the turret optoelectronic module, placed on a gyro-stabilized platform under the nose fairing of the "Inokhodets-RU".
Another element of the ammunition of the reconnaissance and strike UAVs "Inokhodets-RU" is the UPAB-50S guided gliding bombs, represented by a wide range of warheads from 122-mm unguided rockets, placed in the fuselage with a folding wing unit, as well as a tail module of aerodynamic control on the basis of all-turning planes and guidance based on an inertial navigation system and a GLONASS-/GPS-correction receiver.
When dropped at an echelon of 6500 m, the planning range of this product can reach 25-30 km. This will allow the "Inokhodets-RU" operator not to drive the vehicle into the range of enemy military air defense systems such as IR-ASRAAM, or NASAMS in the standard modification with AIM-120B AMRAAM SAMs, the effective range of which when launched from a ground launcher does not exceed 20-23 km.
