Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that he jokingly suggested to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to deploy the hypersonic missile system "Oreshnik" in Belarus.

The head of the republic added that the demonstration of the capabilities of "Oreshnik" cooled down those who put the world on the brink of a third world war.

Lukashenko emphasized that "Oreshnik" is a good weapon, comparable in power to nuclear weapons, but without penetrating radiation, contamination of the area and objects.
