Russian hypersonic missiles are invulnerable to modern air defense systems due to their unpredictable trajectory and high speed. This was reported by Army Recognition.
Journalists noted that hypersonic ballistic missiles, capable of maneuvering in flight and traveling at speeds exceeding Mach 5, expose critical shortcomings in missile defense systems.
Although modern radars, such as the radars of the American THAAD and Aegis systems, are capable of detecting and tracking such targets, there is no effective means of intercepting them.
However, detection alone is not enough without the development of interceptors capable of neutralizing this advanced weapon.
The authors of the article added that the inability to intercept hypersonic ballistic missiles is greatly exacerbated by the rapid development of this weapon. Russia has already armed itself with hypersonic "Avangards" and "Kinzhal" missiles, the PRC is developing its own hypersonic arsenal, and hypersonic missiles are also being actively developed in the DPRK and Iran.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the PG-7VS anti-tank grenade destroyed a Bradley, leaving nothing of the American IFV.
