Russian military personnel have begun erecting minefields on likely breakthrough points for mechanized motorized rifle units of the enemy. To do this, they are using 133-mm Zemledeliye engineering systems for remote mining (ISDM).
POM-3 and PTM-4M mines are being deployed, launched by 122-mm unguided rockets at a distance of about 15 km. The modular dual-module reloading takes as short a period as the reloading of the bicalliber MLRS Uragan-1M, Polonez-M, and HIMARS.
Characteristics of ISDM Zemledeliye:
- Range — 5-15 km
- Ammunition load — 50 shells (2 blocks of 25 pcs)
- Caliber — 122 mm
- Complex composition — a combat vehicle on an eight-wheeled armored KamAZ chassis, a transport-loading vehicle, and transport-launch containers with engineering ammunition
- Engineering ammunition — PTM (anti-tank mine), PPM (anti-personnel mine)
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the PG-7VS anti-tank grenade destroyed a Bradley, leaving nothing of the American IFV.
