Photos of the new Lada Iskra in a cross-wagon body without camouflage have appeared online. The car is presented in gray and captured from different angles.
Judging by all appearances, the pictures were taken on the territory of AvtoVAZ. According to RCI News, the Lada Iskra SW Cross is similar to the Lada XCode concept, which was presented in 2016.
Like the Lada Vesta SW Cross, the Iskra SW Cross has increased ground clearance and a plastic protective body kit. In addition, the car has larger wheels and different bumpers.
As a reminder, the Lada Iskra is a car based on the Renault CMF-B-LS platform, which has been adapted and localized for the Russian market.
The Lada Iskra will use 1.6-liter engines from AvtoVAZ, with a capacity of 90 and 106 horsepower. Depending on the configuration, the car will be equipped with one of three gearboxes: a five-speed manual, a six-speed manual, or a WLY CVT18 variator in the top version.
The start of mass production of Lada Iskra is scheduled for the spring of 2025. The cross-wagon will be the most expensive car in the lineup.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ started mass production of the new Lada Iskra model in a cross-wagon body. This is the third version of the car in the lineup, which will complement the sedan and the regular wagon. Lada Iskra will be sold in parallel with Lada Granta, but will eventually replace the latter.
