For the first time, an Aurus Senat limousine has appeared in retail sale: a 2020 model with 117,000 km mileage is being sold by the "Avilon" car dealer for 64.5 million rubles. President Vladimir Putin rides in such armored limousines, as well as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and Kazakhstan's Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. They are few and far between, but the owner of the Aurus Senat specimen put up for sale is not disclosed.
The car has the maximum armor class for passenger cars, VR10. The Aurus Senat can withstand the detonation of an anti-tank mine, a hand grenade, and shelling from a Kalashnikov assault rifle and a Dragunov sniper rifle.
Under the hood of the limousine is a hybrid power plant with a 4.4-liter V8 gasoline turbo engine producing 598 hp. The power plant includes a 9-speed automatic transmission. The drive is all-wheel drive.
The interior is finished with chocolate-colored genuine leather and natural wood inserts.
Inside, there is a partition between the driver and passengers, as well as a refrigerator and a mini-bar.
Earlier in September, a simpler pre-styling Aurus Senat Aurora 2023 model year was put up for sale in Moscow for 48.5 million rubles.
