Mobile operator T2 (formerly known as Tele2) launched more than 25 thousand communication base stations in nine months of this year. This figure is three times higher than the results of the same period in 2023.
More than 25 thousand base stations were put into operation, which is 212.5% more compared to last year.
Most of the new communication stations appeared in residential areas. This improved the quality of communication and LTE coverage. Telecommunications equipment was actively installed in the macro-regions "North-West", "Moscow", "South" and "Siberia"
The press service noted that 23% of new base stations were installed in residential areas, 10% as part of the program to eliminate the digital divide, and 19% to develop the network at the macro-regional level.
