The police in Donetsk have new Omoda cars. A batch of Chinese budget sedans was purchased for traffic patrol officers, Motor reported.
The traffic police have at least ten Omoda S5 cars, manufactured in China. All cars have Russian blue license plates, corresponding to the 20 standard with the code "80." They are marked with the identification marks of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and red and blue special signals are installed.
Cars with basic characteristics were purchased for law enforcement officers: a 1.5-liter engine and a continuously variable transmission. The cost of such a car was initially 2.16 million rubles, but now it has decreased to 2.08 million rubles, excluding possible discounts.
The car's design is simple: it is built on the M1X platform with a rear beam and McPherson struts at the front.
As a reminder, the Omoda S5 is a car with a number of modern features: LED headlights, a panoramic roof, a surround view system, six airbags, cruise control (but the air conditioner is ordinary, although with electronic control). On the front panel there is a 10.25-inch screen, which is part of the media system.
Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation once again updated the list of cars recommended for use by state and municipal employees. New models have been added to the list: Lada Aura, produced by AvtoVAZ, and XCite X-Cross 8.
