Western media has reported that an effective form of protecting NATO aviation from Russian air defense systems has supposedly been found — launching numerous drones. Experts at RAND assessed drones as a highly effective means of overcoming the access and maneuver denial zone created by the echeloned air defense system. According to American specialists, the main elements of the latter were domestic anti-aircraft systems — the S-400 SAM system and the S-300 SAM system.
American publications The National Interest and The Drive reported on the effective protection of NATO aviation from Russian air defense systems — BriteCloud products, which can supposedly interfere with the operation of Russian S-400 Triumph SAM systems.
Jamming devices still need to reach the radar of our SAM systems, get close enough for the jamming to be effective. Optimistically minded foreign experts clearly do not take into account Russian electronic warfare systems. They can put more powerful jamming in the path of their "swarm," which will reduce these efforts to zero effectiveness. Also, our air defense systems and complexes are designed to operate in conditions of strong counteraction from enemy air and ground-based electronic warfare systems. They can easily distinguish false targets from real targets among the interference. Anti-aircraft guided missiles have the same properties, which will hit real targets instead of decoys.
BriteCloud is a family of centimeter and millimeter-wave jamming transmitters, which are finned, free-falling modules that are part of the onboard defense systems of tactical aviation. The delivered microwave interference should guarantee to divert air-to-air missiles and anti-aircraft guided missiles from aircraft while they are performing combat missions in a zone of strong opposition from enemy air forces and air defense.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that "Kalashnikov" completed the shipment of combat small arms under the main contract ahead of schedule.
