Yandex Maps has learned to build routes taking into account warm transport stops. Such routes, where you can warm up while waiting for transport, are called comfortable, and they are marked on the maps with a special icon.
Comfortable routes are available for residents of KhMAO, YANAO, Yakutia, Chukotka, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Omsk and Murmansk regions. The maps have marked more than 600 heated stops in these regions.
To build a comfortable route, Maps analyzes historical temperature data, the distance to the heated stop, and the waiting time for transport. If it is possible to find a route option that allows you to stay warm longer, it will be the first in the list. Such a route may take a little longer, but it will allow users to reach their destination in warmth.
In addition, now in Maps you can check whether there is heating at a specific stop. Just open its card in the application and find the signature "Heated" at the top.
